Elsa Asher, MS, CD(DONA)

I am a somatic therapy practitioner and bodyworker; healing and reproductive justice workshop facilitator; and professor of Narrative Medicine. I was born on Duwamish land in Seattle, Washington and I live on Ohlone land the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

I hold a Masters of Science degree in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University, and I completed the Pre and Perinatal Psychology 700-Hour practitioner training program. I am also a Certified DONA Doula, an ordained ritual leader in the Hebrew tradition, and am currently in the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy 700-Hour practitioner training program at Colorado School of Energy Studies, and Body into Being Advanced Bodywork training. I teach Narrative Medicine at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, MFA in Creative Writing program at Dominican University, and Columbia University.
